HORIZON 21
INSPIRED BY THE REBIRTH OF THE AUSTRALIAN LANDSCAPE AFTER THE HORRIFIC FIRE SEASON AND THE DESPAIR COVID HAS HAD ON THE WORLD, THE COLLECTION ILLUMINATES A SENSE OF NEW LIFE.
SHOT IN THE VERY LOCATION FIRES IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA HAD RUN RAMPANT, THE DESIGNERS NINA ERGIC AND DAN ROMANIN FOUND IT INSPIRING TO SEE THAT “OUT OF CHARRED LANDSCAPE NEW LIFE WAS ABUNDANT, MAGICAL AND ALL ENCOMPASSING” DAN ROMANIN, WHICH IS WHERE THEY HAD DRAWN THE COLOUR PALETTE FOR THE RESORT COLLECTION.
THE SHAPES AND SILHOUETTES OF THE COLLECTION EMBODY THE JUXTAPOSITION OF THE FRAGMENTED AND BRUNT STRUCTURES OF TREE TRUNKS AND BARREN GROUND. SET AGAINST A BEAUTIFUL HORIZON, THIS WAS PERFECTLY ENCAPSULATED IN THE SHOOT.
